Study conducted to understand the production management needs of the homemade food market in urban areas of Rio de Janeiro.

Project

This project was developed by me and Bruna Finkennauer for the subject Advanced Project of Socio-environmental Use and Impact at PUC-Rio, with counseling from João Victor Azevedo, Nathalia Cavalcante, and Flavio Carvalho.

"Your partner in managing your business"

Vai uma quentinha¹ aí?² In times of crisis, the street food trade in Rio de Janeiro rises. To gain a deeper understanding of this production chain and provide methods to manage its variables while increasing profitability, Régis was created.

The application is designed for quentinha vendors who operate with a lean production and sales structure, often integrated into their home environment. The solution covers various stages of the production process, offering a service that provides a graphical visualization of costs, profits, and revenue. This enables vendors to adopt increasingly strategic and efficient business practices.

Thus, the project aims to establish a partnership with quentinha producers and sellers, serving as a tool that supports, encourages, and strengthens the sustainability of their entrepreneurial activity.

Quentinha ¹ a complete meal, typically packaged in an aluminum or styrofoam container, designed for easy transport and to keep the food warm for immediate consumption.

Vai uma quentinha aí? ² an informal way of asking if the customer would like to buy a quentinha.

Propose

The idea aims to encompass the various stages of the production process, operating through the continuous input of data and its subsequent processing. This information provides a holistic view of the business's health and empowers entrepreneurs to make informed decisions for growth.

Its structure is divided into two parts: the first, focused on actions, serves as a space for storing and recording data. The second, dedicated to visualizations, provides graphical insights that enable an accessible understanding of business productivity.
